Startup Ole Entrepreneur’s Fair 2019

Aeinnova at StartupOle 2019

One more year Aeinnova has participated in the StartupOle, an event that, year after year, is consolidating and becoming one of the most important startup fairs in southern Europe.

On this occasion, we had the opportunity to disseminate our project to a significant number of people, including the president of the Spanish government Pedro Sánchez and participate in the pitch competition where we won the vertical of Energy and were finalists in the grand final.

Without a doubt, a good opportunity to spread our LIFE project.

Our CEO, David Comellas, has participated in an interview at the Kapital Empresa program of Radio Kanal.

Kapital Empresa is a radio program with current interviews, aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, businesses and entrepreneurs.

Conducted by Montse Pardo and directed by Javier Gabarri, Kapital Empresa is broadcast from 13 to 15h from Monday to Friday.

AEInnova at 4YFN 2019

Over the years, 4YFN has been consolidating in the city of Barcelona and we can say that it has become the world benchmark at the startups technology fairs.

With the help of the Fundación Repsol and Banco Sabadell, we had the opportunity to participate and present our technology and our European project LIFE HEAT-R.

The reaction of the public has been really spectacular and we have achieved almost 40 high level contacts.

Heat-R at COP24!!!

After a rigorous selection process, AEInnova was invited to participate in the United Nations Climate Summit (COP24) that has been held from 3 to 14 December in Katowice (Poland).

Our presentation was made by the president of the company, Dr. Raúl Aragonés, together with its director scientist, Prof. Carles Ferrer, within the Action Hub space, and spoke about the different collection techniques Energy (Energy Harvesting), its applications in the new Industry 4.0, with a special mention to our LIFE HEAT-R project.

The United Nations Climate Summit, also called the Conference of the Parties (COP), is an annual initiative led by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which is attended by around 200 countries and represents the Largest global initiative for greenhouse gas reduction and action on the effects of climate change. Among his most important achievements are the Pact to extend the Kyoto Agreement in COP18 and the Paris Agreements of COP21 where, for the first time, 175 countries agreed to limit the global temperature increase to 2 ° C.

In this edition, the achievements and procedures will be reviewed in order to reach the Paris Agreements.

Ecomondo

Ecomondo is the leading Euro-Mediterranean area green and circular economy expo: an international event with an innovative format that brings together all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform: from material and energy recovery to sustainable development.

AEInnova – Alternative Energy Innovations has been invited by LIFE Programme from the European Commission and Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and NEEMO EEIG to present waste heat revalorization advances based on thermoelectricity in the international fair ECOMONDO the Green Technologies Expo in Rimini, Italy.

In this fair so integrated with the environment, we managed to make 14 new contacts.

AEInnova at The Business Booster

The Business Booster (TBB) is an event that brings together 1,000+ attendees from over 40 countries, consisting of start-ups, energy industry representatives, financial communities, policy makers and regulators.

Aeinnova has been invited to participate and our CSO attended the conference. There he presented our LIFE project (HEAT-R) in front of about 200 people.

AEInnova at Oil & Gas Conference

AEInnova has been participate in the Oil & Gas Conference, an event aimed at promoting intersectoral relations, as well as networking between the different actors and “key players”.

In there we presented our technology as well as the our Heat-R Life project. With nearly 300 attendees we could contact with 9 important people related to the Oil&Gas sector, our primary target.

GPEX/Gastech fair

Global Power & Energy Exhibition (GPEX) – co-located with Gastech – is the world’s leading gas and LNG showcase, the better place to find the latest strategies and technologies needed to adapt to the energy transition. The firts edition was developed in Barcelona and we had the pleasure of having a small stand there.

Our experience has been really positive counting 672 flyers, 76 contacts, 18 face-to-face meetings. Amazing!

AEInnova at Climate Change Mitigation in Energy Intensive Industries event

Our president, Dr. Raúl Aragonés, and our CEO, David Comellas, have attended the LIFE platform meeting on climate change mitigation in energy intensive industries in Utrecht, the Netherlands (26-27 September 2018).

The meeting is hosted by LIFE OPTIMELT (http://lifeoptimelt.com/announcement.htm), a project that is recovering waste heat in glass manufacturing, and is organised in cooperation with the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA).

The two-day gathering included plenary sessions on the policy context, industry commitments and technological solutions; workshops; a poster session; and field visits to the OPTIMELT project at the Libbey Leerdam glassware factory and Tata Steel’s Horizon 2020 project, HIsarna, both in the Netherlands.
