Startup Olé is a great technological event that brings together the European and international ecosystem in a combined format.
The meeting seeks to stimulate new viable and sustainable business projects, through a complete agenda based on motivational talks, training workshops, round tables, networking areas between companies and entrepreneurs for the formalization of strategic alliances, as well as debates on innovative trends in the different sectors.
Startup Olé Accelerator has got this year with the presence of AEInnova – Alternative Energy Innovations. Good contacts with investors, clients, and possible partners in different areas. The reaction of the public has been amazing and we have achieved almost 20 contacts.

The Mobile World Congress is an annual congress around the world of mobile communication, which is held at the Fira de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. It is considered the most important in the world in its sector.

With the help of the ACCIÓ platform, we have had the opportunity to present our heat recovery project at a stand where more than 500 people have attended in the 3 days that the fair lasts. In the MWC 2021, we have introduced the main benefits of batteryless IoT solutions for the industry of Oil&Gas. We also received a visit from BIND 4.0 (Basque Open Innovation Platform) at our stand, who were very interested in our solution for Industry 4.0

Our experience has been positive counting more than 500 flyers, 46 contacts, and a lot of face-to-face meetings, we had a great time!

AEInnova is proud to contribute as a speaker at The European Steel Technology Platform (ESTEP) conference in “Low Carbon and Energy Efficiency” next May 18th.

 We will introduce two products & projects funded by the European Commission and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) related to energy harvesting and IoT, allowing these energy-intensive industries to become more sustainable and digital. 

In particular: 

+ HEAT-R ENV: Improving the energy efficiency of steel industries using waste heat recovery units based on thermoelectric modules, project LIFE Programme ENV / ES/ 000344 HEAT-R.

 + INDUEYE-2.0: Making the steel industry more digital, sustainable, and efficient using new long-range wireless edge-computing IoT devices fully powered by waste heat, project EIC Pilot INDUEYE 2.0 Grant 946845.

In this event, organized by the HANNOVER MESSE fair, there will be pitching the TOP IoT Game Changers in 2021! AEInnova will present the INDU-EYE batteryless and autonomous IoT device that is transforming energy-demanding industries into more digital, sustainable, and efficient.

The EU Industry Days is Europe’s flagship annual event, highlighting industrial frontrunners, ongoing industrial policy discussions, and improving the knowledge base of European industry. It is the main platform to discuss industry challenges and co-develop opportunities and policy responses in an inclusive dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders.

Despite the fact that this year the event was online due to covid-19, AEInnova has managed to obtain 21 new contacts.

AEInnova has participated in the ADPIEC fair, at the conference “Oil & Gas 4.0: IOT & Advanced technologies”. We have presented our very important contribution to the oil&gas industry, and in particular in the oil refinery plant of Cepsa in the south of Spain (Huelva), with the collaboration of Vodafone and Vodafone IoT telecom company for the NB-IoT network service.    

This conference has been online due to the covid-19 pandemic, next year we hope to be in person enjoying the fair. Despite this, we have managed to make 18 new contacts.

AEInnova is proud to become one of the 19 most potential startups / scale-ups of Making Europe’s industry climate-neutral by 2050. On the 20th of July in the European union Industrial Days 2021, organized by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and the European Commission, AEInnova has exhibited two projects related to energy harvesting from Waste Heat and IoT:

– HEAT-R Project, from LIFE Programme for creating clean negative carbon energy from waste heat, improving the energy efficiency.

 – INDU-EYE 2.0 project from the #EICaccelerator is the best performance and environmentally friendly long-range edge-computing IoT device for monitoring vibration and steam leaks in energy-demanding industries.
